The Sacramento-based IT company MetaVista Consulting Group has named IT veteran Jack Batchelor as its new president, according to a press release.

Batchelor was most recently an account executive for state and county governments with TEKsystems before joining MetaVista earlier this month. He also worked for the Intel Corporation as a staffing consultant and project manager in Folsom.
In a MetaVista press release, Batchelor said his greatest priority will be in matching customers with the right consultant for their needs.
“My vision is to have more of a hands-on, personal touch with the customer,” Batchelor said in a press release.
MetaVista clients include the Secretary of State, California State Teachers’ Retirement System, Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation and the California Technology Alliance.
